Partneriaeth Ogwen leads on the maintenance of several community gardens in the valley. These include Gerddi Ffrancon , Llys Dafydd, Tan Tŵr and the garden at Dyffryn Ogwen Community Library.
The gardens are nice, green spaces for the residents of the area to enjoy and also contribute to promoting bio-diversity in the area. We also grow community food in our gardens and encourage local residents to take what they need.
We are proud to have a number of volunteers who actively help with the upkeep of these spaces alongside our community gardener Barry Roberts. If you would like to volunteer or develop your skills please contact Enable JavaScript to view protected content. to see how you can get involved.
We would like the community gardener to be a resource for the community beyond these gardens. If you have a community space and want a little help please get in touch to see how we can support.
We are grateful to the Wales Council for Voluntary Action for funding the Gerddi Ogwen project through the landfill tax grant.
